Simon Cowell complimented Lee’s tone and said he’s going to remember Lee’s audition for the rest of his life. Gingzilla was the next performer and the judges couldn’t help but smile when they saw him. He called himself the 7-foot Ginger-zilla and he came out on stage baring his hairy chest and beard, while decked out in makeup and glamour. He said that he’s used all the things he used to be bullied for to his advantage.
These seven acts join the 2019 Golden Buzzer winners in the live shows that will take place in August. Six other acts advanced to the AGT live shows, covering several different genres on the show. After the Golden Buzzer was assigned by Brad Paisley, it left the judge’s panel to decide who else would advance. AGT judge cut episodes will air every Tuesday night on NBC at 8p.m.

Two acts from each episode advanced to the finals and the Top 10 will perform one more time for the chance to be named the best act in the world. 50 acts from around the world were part of the competition and 10 acts performed each week for the past five weeks. And so, it was time for the Dunkin Save live votes to be tallied. It was down to Ansley Burns, Emerelle Belles, and Sophie Pecora.
A dance team called V Unbeatable, from Mumbai, India, took the stage they said they have a very hard life back home. The group consists of 28 dancers, with ages ranging from 12 to 27, and most of the members live in the slums, with no electricity. The performance was filled with acrobatics and stunts, as well as high energy. Patrizio Ratto, a shy pianist, took the stage and said he was a bit nervous, prior to performing. His specialty was classical music and his set started with Beethoven’s “Fur Elise” and then added crazy dance movements, transforming the performance into an energetic dance routine.

Season 14 newbies Gabrielle Union and Julianne Hough voted for the Ndlovu Youth Choir, while longtime panelist Howie Mandel opted for Robert. Ultimately, Simon Cowell was the deciding vote, and he went with the Ndlovu Youth Choir. That meant that Robert and the other five contestants — Messoudi Brothers, Greg Morton, Ansley Burns, Jackie Fabulous, and Eric Chien — were sent packing. After they finished their act, they invited their dad on stage to join them for one last 4-person stunt. The judges were impressed by how well they rose to the occasion in the face of unexpected obstacles. The first act of the night was Lucas and his 10-year-old dog Falco, who performed a circus-themed act to “This Is Me” from The Greatest Showman.
Singers Benicio Bryant and MacKenzie were the final artists to find out their results, besides the Dunkin Save contenders. Judge Gabrielle Union let Bryant know that he is one of her favorite acts of the season, upon hearing the results. The act who finished in fourth place and was leaving the competition was then revealed to be V.Unbeatable.

Before getting into more results, several acts from previous seasons of the show took the stage to perform. It was between Gonzo and the Detroit Youth Choir, but the choir made it through. It’s no wonder they were golden buzzer winners earlier in the season. And, the act who took the first spot in the top 5 tonight was … Voices of Service. Next to find out the results were Emanne Beasha and Ryan Niemiller.
Chris Klåfford performed an original song called “Something Like Me,” which is about people judging him based on his appearance. He received a standing ovation from all five judges, which moved him to tears on stage. There were 11 acts that performed during Semifinals 2, each of which was hoping to receive the support of America this week. Only five would advance though, with three from America’s Vote, one by Dunkin’ Save, and one by judges.

During tonight’s results show, fates were revealed and performers hoped to keep their spot on the show. In addition, former contestants from the series came aboard for performances as well. Then, the three acts in danger were revealed to be Jackie Fabulous, Lukas & Falco, and Marcin Patrzalek. When the live voting was shown across the screen, Jackie Fabulous was in the lead with the most votes.
"I'm sorry, but your colleagues made a bad decision. What was in their cups?? @therobertfinley deserved to be saved!!," another said. A third person claimed this year is the "Worst season ever," and said they "wish people voted based on talent." 15-year-old singer/songwriter Sophie Pecora gave another heartfelt performance of an original song about overcoming the bullies. Andy Rowell proved less successful the second time performing a comedy act for the judges, especially guest judge Brad Paisley.
There, they will also go up against golden buzzer winners Kodi Lee, Joseph Allen, Tyler Butler-Figueroa, Detroit Youth Choir, Luke Islam, Sophie Pecora, and more. Next week will be the second part of the quarterfinals, along with a results show. September 17th and 18th will be this season’s final episodes. Only one winner will be chosen, so America’s votes are crucial to the success of their favorite acts.
On the bright side, Robert fans should take comfort knowing that the soul singer already has quite an accomplished singing career. The 65-year-old Vietnam veteran, who is legally blind, released his debut album Age Don't Mean a Thing in 2016 and has since collaborated with Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys. Now that he's appeared on AGT though, we're guessing he'll be even more successful than he was before. When AGT judge Howie Mandel asked fans that they thought of Wednesday night's show, many said they were upset that Robert Finley went home.
Tonight was the first live results show for America’s Got Talent 2019 quarterfinals and only 7 acts will make it through to the semi-finals. Last night, 12 acts performed as part 1 of the quarterfinals for season 14 and fans were waiting to see who will move on in the competition. Finally, it was time to hear who earned the Dunkin Save tonight. This meant that Lukas & Falco and Marcin Patrzalek were up for a possible save from the judges. "HATED IT!! the brothers got screwed they were the best act of the season! If I wanna see singers I'll watch the voice! This show should be for everyone but singers!," one fan wrote back to Howie.
During the first semifinals episode, there were several iconic performances from acts like Kodi Lee, who sang You Are The Reason while playing the piano. Violinist Tyler Butler-Figueroa was equally impressive on the stage. During each of the preliminary weeks, the judges gave out a golden buzzer to sent one act to the finals.
